Great idea but doesn’t deliver

This is a nice-looking watch, and the concept is great. The price was excellent. The VeryFit app is decent, and the huge number of watch face varients is cool. However, the watch I received doesn’t do what it claims do. No matter how much I adjust the watch band and hold my arm still, it won’t reliably show a heart rate. The SpO2 never works. The stress function take a very long time to show a number. The screen respone is buggy (at best) or unresponsive to answering a phone call –> requiring multiple taps which are either unsuccessful or result in unintended consequences. Other functions require multiple taps on the screen to select, and sometimes never select at all. At a minimum, I’ve received a watch with a defective touch screen. There may be other issues.

One major design shortcoming is that it is not possible to change the order (or presence) of the functions available after pressing the physical button. Since I don’t have an Alexa, I’d prefer not to see the function listed. While the Cycle function is a great thing, men won’t need it…. and so on.

The watch band feels durable but it’s difficult to secure the extra length of strap through the band “keeper” — Which is really just a large gap in the band. This is a problem because if you are going to tighten the wrist band with any chance of detecting a heart rate with the app, it will be difficult to shove the extra wristband material through the keeper hole.

There is documentation inside the packaging to activate an extended (12-month) warranty, which is nice.

I have had this watch for 3 weeks and am thinking of returning it, because it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. I’ve reached out to the vendor for help. If it turns out well, I’ll update this review and rating.

Very easy watch to set up and use. Lots of options for watch face appearance/features, and waterproof. I was not able to turn off automatic heart monitoring (a green light that flashes on bottom), though support was quick to communicate + offer ideas. Instead, I just put tape over it, since I don’t need any heart monitoring.

Overall, an excellent and attractive watch for such a low price. Will probably buy for Xmas presents for my family.

My last watch went wrong after just a couple of weeks so I decided to try this one. It is so much better from the outset and well worth the price. I love the look of it and the watch face size is perfect. There are also so many more helpful tracking features available than any of the other watches I’ve seen available. Definitely recommend!

Like this watch very much. Bit bigger than I maybe would have wanted but easy to read at all times. It’s pretty accurate only losing a minute or so every month or so and this is easily fixed by using the sync facility, takes seconds. I also use and like the relaxation mode.
